A long chapter of my freelance career was spent as the Producer at Blue Voyage Productions. In our 8 years producing content for the Georgia Port Authority, we collaborated to produce their annual State of the Port live event, which would recap their year for a live audience of 1,500 of their key stakeholders.

Our yearly communications campaigns for them featured a number individual videos for the port on various subjects; economic development, infrastructure, key partnerships/clients, and future plans. These videos would then become the spine of the State of the Port event. The State of the Port hosted shipping lines, politicians, union leaders, and other logistics industry stakeholders.

Blue Voyage produced the cutting edge graphical presentations, roll in the video to the live audience, and then also shoot the entire live event and for broadcast to the larger online audience. Part TED Talk, part PowerPoint, the presentations had the C-Suite of the GPA as well as federal and state level politicians speaking about current and future events at the GPA.

To the left, you’ll find an example of one year’s State of the Port, please scrub through it at your leisure. It’s over an hour, so it is a lot of data, but it showcases the capabilities of our diverse team and the info is presented in a digestible and visually interesting manner.
