April Fools 2025 Rick and Morty [adult swim]

​​In March 2025, Rocket Slide Films and the ever-talented Director Tom Bingham had me come on board as the Producer and 1st AD for this project. Produced as a TV special it was broadcast once at midnight on April 1st, 2025 in their long-standing tradition of April Fools stunts. From there it became a viral sensation and was passed around the internet.

The special was a live-action interpretation of scenes from the hit Adult Swim show Rick & Morty broadcast as a means to launch the Rick & Morty Season 8 trailer release to a wider audience. We shot the project with a great team, with a cast of 50+, in the (haunted) Morton Theatre in Athens, GA. It still amazes me we did this within the span of 40 something days. A testament to the Rocketslide Team and our core group Tom, Megan Fucci, and Lanette Cousineau and to our departmental keys who made the shoot look amazing.

A good time was had by most.
